For my loyal readers, I am starting a series of posts so that you will know “How To Blog Like An Ace” and enjoy all the huge benefits of blogging.

Today, I shall motivate you with the 10 reasons or benefits of blogging.

1. It creates a web presence for you to say something useful about your products or services.  People will then get to know you and what you can do for them.

2. With your own business blog, you will gain more credibility.  It gives you the opportunity to show your expertise.

3. Your readers have a chance to give comments and suggestions directly.  This will create interaction and interest.

4. If your readers like you, they will buy from you.

5. You can create new targeted search engine pages for your site without needing to use your HTML editor every time.  You simply log in to your blog admin panel, type your thoughts, proofread and press publish.  Therefore you can post to your blog yourself two or three times a week.

6. You can use your blog to increase traffic if it has valuable content.  With helpful and relevant content you will attract loyal readers and subscribers.  And if you have 1,000 readers and each of your readers refer a friend, you would have 2,000 readers.  With a blog you can submit to the many blog directories, thus reaching more targeted readers.

7. The search engine spiders love blogs and will pick your keywords, boosting your rankings.  This means that it will be easier for people to find you on the web.  Just remember to update frequently so that the spiders will visit your blog more frequently. 

8. Your blog can help you to network and build up a community of like-minded readers.  You blog, your readers comment.  Others blog and you comment.  After a while, more people will have heard of you and your business because the buzz gets passed around.

9. You can get feedback on your new ideas by asking your customers to tell you how to best serve them.

10. You can use the side bars in your blog to promote your products, affiliate products, run ads or sell any products or services.  Therefore your posts can remain content rich and not have promotional hype.
